Back in the 17th century, the first newspapers were born in the coffee shops of England. The bartender would ask travelers about their journeys and the sights they had seen. At the end of the bar, a paper was placed where they would write about their adventures, providing fresh news from the outside world for everyone to read.

Now, imagine that this diary you have in your hands is one of those early newspapers. What have you seen out there in the Lofoten Islands? How was your adventure? What did you feel? What did the trees smell like?
