"The Lofoten are one of the rareest places on Earth where I can practice all my favorite sports in one location: skiing, kitesurfing, and surfing. While one can have a debate about the cold temperatures (especially that of the water), one cannot debate the scenery, which ranges from amazingly beautiful to out of this world insane. Be it under the northern lights or the midnight sun and no matter the season, it’s often impossible to rest and irresistible to take out the camera. While living out of my camper van, I decided to visit Skårungen for one day the first time and ended up staying several months, making it my perfect basecamp. Additionally, I had the fortune to forge many great friendships that will draw me back here many more times in the future."
