  • We will host the experience at Skårungen. We will always try to do it in the outdoors if the weather allows it.

  • NOK 699, - per person.

  • First, an aperitive drink of your own choice will be served.

    We will continue with a cheese board, olives and other snacks.

    Then the asado (beef, pork and chorizo) with salsa criolla, and fries.

    The event will finish with some desert and coffee or tea.

Do you want to stay overnight? Combine the asado with accommodation at Skårungen!

ABOUT NICO

Inspired in Patagonia, the land of his childhood. 

Nicolas Calvo is from Patagonia and is working at our Skårungen Restaurant.

He traveled the world (as he says) ‘from Patagonia to Patagonia’ to find himself now in the Lofoten islands of Norway. From Argentinian Patagonia to Lofoten in the Artic Circle.

The idea of doing this event, is to bring into the artic a complete new experience. Simplicity and the art of sharing, in behalf of his gratitude and amazement for this location.

The fire. The meat. The great Argentinian asado. Simple and extraordinary. 

“I learned to make asado when I was very young, watching my dad doing it everyday for tourists in the farm we got.

This farm is an incredible and magical place where I had the privilege to grow up in and live many great experiences in between horses, cows and condors, that define me as who I am today.”
